You know from cuteness. You make hourly visits to cuteoverload.com and serve mini everything (including cheeseburgers and milkshakes) at shindigs chez toi.
But nothing can prepare you for the adorableness that is Little Small Clothespin People (a.k.a. Peeps), a delightful line of cards, art objects, and photographs.
Designer Sarah Neuburger, inspired by all that is sweetly diminutive, charmingly nostalgic, and innocently childlike, started making tiny people out of wooden clothespins and everyday found objects.
Hits include a green moss ball peep with felt ears that looks like a lamb; two peeps dressed in chintz bunny costumes and stuffed into a tea cup; and a sewing-themed peep covered in needle, thread, and measuring tape with two teensy eyes looking out.
They are offered as objets d’art, as photographs, in view boxes, or as a set of eight note cards.
Go ahead: Get more than one.
Because contrary to popular opinion, you can never actually overload on cuteness.
