Our vice: restaurant indulgence. (Yours, too?)
His Old Town venture is set up in a two-story former feed house with alfresco seating and big windows that look out on the water.
The American Irish menu entices with delicate cockles and mussels, steak and kidney pie, rockfish with colcannon (a traditional cabbage dish), decadent deviled eggs, and pigs in blankets. A long list of craft beers and tempting cocktails (like one with tangelos, orange flower water, Hofbräu Hefe Weizen, gin, and whiskey) will have you doubling down.
There’s even a walk-up window for fried chicken, plus pool tables where you can play between bites. Pajama brunches and block parties are on the horizon.
It’s like you died and went to heaven.
