Sleep Cell Training Camp
What:
Take a sleeping bag and pillow and go deep under covers to learn about “tactical dreaming, deployed sonic phenomenology, open source nomadic structures, and ironic squatting.”
Why: The interactive art project is a fundraiser for Susan Robb’s next project, Sleeper Cells, which will provide temporary shelters for homeless camp Tent City 3.
When: Check-in, Sat., 8:30 p.m.; camp, Sat., 9 p.m.-Sun., 10 a.m.

What:
San Francisco-based Studio for Urban Projects leads a free multimedia tour of Cheshiahud Lake Union Loop (Fairview Park, Gas Works Park, and Lake Washington Ship Canal).
Why: Learn about the area’s much-storied history by listening to short talks by Coll Thrush (Native Seattle: Histories from the Crossing-Over Place) and David Williams (The Seattle Street-Smart Naturalist: Field Notes from the City).
