Velocity Dance Center’s Grand Reopening
What: Celebrate the org’s new digs with a parade, a three-ring circus-themed party, performances by the Merce Cunningham Duo, and music by DJs Mad Rad and others.

Mend & Measure Day
What: In honor of the Navy tradition, Blackbird owner Nicole Miller and her staff teach customers how to darn, mend, and patch their favorite well-worn clothes.
Why: Take tattered jeans or socks that need salvaging.
