Shopping for investment pieces when your tastes veer off the bedazzled beaten path (ahem) can be difficult. Which is why Dinosaur Designs’s latest collection, Earth, is such a find.

Nolita duo Louise Olsen and Stephen Ormandy — who met while studying painting and sculpture on the other side of the globe — are responsible for the line of housewares and jewelry. I’ve passed their shop a million times while running errands, but their moody takes on resin and precious metal pebbles stopped me in my tracks on the way home last night.
