So make your next nonprofit donation a little more personal: Help a local college-bound high school student with ScholarMatch, which was created as part of 826 National to aid with rising tuition costs.

Simply register as a donor, and then decide how you’re going to contribute: either a general donation (which ScholarMatch will distribute) or to an individual student, whose fundraising “goal” is based on his or her level of need. Want to help out a future doctor? You can search by intended major, neighborhood, and more.

Once you’ve donated, you’ll get monthly updates throughout the student’s university career.

This is one program that gets high marks.
