Dear The Store Formerly Known as Our Favorite,

We had a good run, but it’s time to say goodbye. There’s someone else.

It started a few years back, when Jill Wenger opened her downtown boutique, Totokaelo. Who could resist the assortment of high-end designers (Rick Owens, Jil Sander, Isabel Marant)?

Just as our crush was under control, Totokaelo moved to the Hill; the new light-filled store is heart-stoppingly spacious with white walls and exposed wooden beams.

And how it meets our every need! In addition to fashions and accessories, Toto contains Art — Object, a new section devoted to decor. We’re smitten with the ceramic dishes and eye-popping linens and head over heels for chunky woven rugs and Navajo textiles.
