Despite the recycling bin of red wine you’ve decimated by your lonesome, you don’t prefer surreptitious drinking.
That will change with The Secret Hooch Society. The concept from Kelly Malone, founder of Indie Mart and Workshop, combines the popular cocktail classes and a pop-up with shots of DJs and underground cool.
They’ll turn up in warehouses, art galleries, even private residences (like high school parties but with better booze).
Sign up immediately for the Holiday Hooch class ($52), which takes place Saturday, 7-9:30 p.m. Of course, we can’t tell you where it will be, but we can tell you that you’ll be in the hands of bartenders from The Burritt Room and Tsunami Sushi, birch and ginger snap liqueurs are involved, and you’ll take home your own hooch (a mason jar of sangria) and recipes.
You’ll receive an email with the location the night before.
Try not to pass out before then.
