Chow to your heart’s (and stomach’s) content at Resurrection Ale House, Leigh Maida and Brendan Hartranft’s (Memphis Taproom, Local 44) new corner place.
No ordinary burger and beer joint, the intimate gastropub has an inspired menu by chef Joe Chmiko (Union Trust) — and a dining room that feels like a sunny home kitchen.
The toughest part will be deciding between the roasted maitake mushrooms with celery root puree, glazed carrots, and hazelnut breadcrumbs; hoisin-braised pork ribs with green cabbage slaw; and the chef’s rendition burger (made from a custom meat blend and topped with pickled onions).
So you’ll just have to have a second coming.
