The Time of Your Life

Father Time. What a turd.

And yet. Just when you thought you’d never forgive him for what he’s done to David Lee Roth, he comes up with a way to win you back.

With Vitra table clocks, the guy’s kinda eased off the throttle a bit. The tabletop darlings have made the grueling trip through kitschier decades to pay us a memorable visit. (How very Marty McFly of them.)

Fresh out of the 1940s come the reissued clocks, which were created by design legend George Nelson back in the days of yore. And if having some yore of your own isn’t enough to seal the deal, Nelson’s loungy styles — like his orange Pill clock or his three-legged, minimalist Tripod clock — certainly will.

So maybe Father Time isn’t quite the deadbeat dad you thought he was.

Which is all the reason you’ll need to rock out with your clock out.
