The Sartorialist: Closer
What: Mingle with blogger Scott Schuman (we know you check his site every day) and his fellow street shooter/girlfriend, Garance Dore, at the free book signing.
Why: It’s his first trip to Philly; dress to impress, people.

Where: The Barnes Foundation, West Terrace, 2025 Benjamin Franklin Pkwy. (215-278-7000). R.S.V.P. (recommended) to email@example.com.
Industrial Antiques Mill + Warehouse Sale
What: Three Potato Four carts the contents (industrial furniture, sewing supplies, tools) of a historic mill to an outdoor spot in Mount Airy.
Why: No need to drive to far-off flea markets to unearth treasures.

Where: 7138 Chew Ave.
Cheese of the Moment Dinner
What: Chef Kristian Leuzzi and Di Bruno Brothers’s Emilio Mignucci honor their favorite food with four courses (crispy duck confit, baked rigatoni) paired with the dairy mainstay and wine ($62).
Why: Donuts with Nutella and candied kumquats for dessert.
When: Tonight, 6-10 p.m.
Where: Kris, 1100 Federal St. Reservations (recommended) to 215-468-0104.
What: No need to head south for your fried-chicken-and-dough fix; Center City locals can now shovel it in at the new location.

When: Daily, 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
Where: 1632 Sansom St. Follow @federaldonuts on Twitter for updates.
