You seldom talk about how you retreated to your parents’ basement after college, but everybody heard when you got a change of address.
Shop owner Brooke Dillon is just as thrilled with her relocation from subterranean digs (though posher than yours were) to the sunnier showroom where she is reopening The Katacomb: Vintage & Interiors.
Book an appointment to peruse racks filled with Victorian blouses, Missoni, and never-worn Sonia Rykiel. She flits between New York and L.A. and is no stranger to Nice and Tokyo, where she always has her eye out for premium pre-loved garb. (Note: Everything hits the organic dry-cleaner first.)
But the best part? Now that Dillon has an interior design license, you can dip a toe in her sophisticated world. Sip champagne while getting her take on window treatments (she sewed the showroom curtains herself) or what color to paint your bedroom.
You’re movin’ on up.
The Katacomb: Vintage & Interiors, 1221 Locust Street, suite 302 (215-520-2911 or thekatacomb.com), $50-$2,500.
