A round of I Spy on the playground nets dresses in the sandbox and blazers on the monkey bars. The kids in this city have got serious fashion game.
But Brooklyn-based designer, illustrator, and mom Rosie Kanellis is looking to lighten up playtime with her new line of tees.
Offered in both long- and short-sleeve styles, the collection is made of the softest organic cotton we’ve ever felt. Add in Kanellis’s hip line drawings (sweet creatures, earthy sayings, ethnic prints, and rad ’80s-inspired doodles) and they ooze chillaxed.
We love the tees worn simply with jeans. Or go ahead and layer with a tutu or hoodie/vest combo for that effortless swing set to jet-set vibe.
After all, this is NYC.
Available at Sweet William, 112 North 6th Street, between Wythe Avenue and Berry Street, Williamsburg (718-218-6946); 85 Kenmare Street, between Cleveland Place and Mulberry Street (212-343-7301 or sweetwilliamltd.com). To see styles, go to acmeteesnyc.com, $34-$40.
