As a devotee of statement necklaces, five-inch heels, and sequin anything, you’re all about add-ons that make heads turn.
Put your love on top with Gypsy Sport.
We first noticed Harlem-based design duo Rio Uribe and Philip O’Sullivan’s headgear at DKNY’s latest Fashion Week presentation (the sporty tie-on visors are sadly no longer available). He created the line with dudes in mind; we favor it for anyone with enough (base)balls to pull it off.
Seek shelter from colder temps beneath red plaid flannel toppers with suede bills or make a spirited statement in blue or purple metallic versions. Lose the shade (but none of the swag) with bill-less, fitted models in black and white leather.
On the flashier side, caps and beanies embellished with puka shells (holla, eighth grade), soda tabs, and metal bits pop. Our favorites, though, are the mixed-material pieces inspired by traditional taqiyahs and made with embroidered patterned wool and silk from Pakistan and Turkey.
Heads way up.
