Move over, Hova.
There’s a new wrap star outta NYC: Votary.
Attorney-on-hiatus Luigi Bianco designed the collection of oversize, double-panel scarves around the belief that layers equal life (or at least sartorial success).
Knit with reversible graphic patterns (Old Glory, triangles in a line, nautical stripes, dotted and graduated chevrons) in a mix of blues (navy, cobalt, dusky), red, cream, and olive, each wrap morphs as you loop and stack. We’d suggest doubling up for added effect and snuggle, but then there’d be no room for your face.
Bianco keeps the itch factor and price to a minimum with soft, hypoallergenic, and pill-resistant acrylic fibers. The unisex pieces are also machine washable, so you can make it, rain or snow.
Larger American flag blankets come in the traditional color scheme or black and white. We’re ordering one for election night in support of the sofa party.
Available at votaryny.com, $75-$225.
