Call it Googa Mooga-induced giddiness, but self-proclaimed foodies can’t keep their yappers shut.
The newest bit for them to chew on: New York Mouth.
The site, run by a trio of overachievers who love locally made delicacies, culls chocolates, spreads, syrups, and other edibles created in the five boroughs (and Jersey).
Themed packages make it easy to navigate the 60-plus purveyors: Order your favorite redhead an all-ginger taster (Morris Kitchen syrup, ale from Q Ginger, and Sweet by Jana sandwich cookies), or opt for the all-jerk package (Kings County, Field Jerky, SlantShack, Ruby Bay Smoked Seafood salmon, Roaming Acres ostrich) to apologize for being one. We also pucker for the eight-jar pickle pack.
A la carte options from Blue Hill at Stone Barns, Nunu Chocolates, and Wölffer Estate tempt, while artisan profiles, quippy descriptions, and enticing photos make the site a treat in itself.
Just don’t lick your screen. People will talk.
