You’re not sure which is growing faster, your little sprout or the credit card bill.
If keeping up with baby has you at a loss, try Stella + Jack, a new online children’s consignment boutique.
Designed to make resale easy for moms, it stocks only items deemed too cute to resist, rugged enough to outlast a second child, or too expensive to purchase at the regular price (although, lucky you, someone did).
Interested sellers can ship gently worn items and the team will select, photograph, and post your items to the site, as well as manage the sale. If your threads are worthy, you’ll get store credit to help offset shipping costs. All sellers make 30 percent by check (or 50 percent in-store credit) on the sale of their items. You can also donate the proceeds to charity and Stella + Jack will send you a receipt for the tax deduction.
Buyers will benefit from the strict brand guidelines and sartorial eye. Our last haul included Baby Boden, Eberjey, Ralph Lauren, and Kate Quinn Organics at a fraction of the retail cost.
And that’s good. Bottom line.
