Only you can say whether that liberal arts degree (Zombies in Poetry and Cinema: four credits) prepared you for real life.
No, you can’t turn back time but you can share your sage advice with university students in need of guidance.
The local chapter of Strong Women, Strong Girls just launched Mentor2Mentor, a program pairing college women (from UM, FIU, and Miami Dade College) with young working professionals (i.e., bringing home the bacon for at least three years).
It’s a five-hour commitment per month for two semesters. Mentors and mentees create goals and chat by phone, in person, or via text. Divulging your hunch punch recipe is not encouraged, but shedding some light on the art of resume writing, networking, and choosing a career path should help you both earn high marks.
Sounds like an easy A.
