The rotating selection of instructors — experts from the tango community — teaches Argentine tango to the well-heeled attendees. Note to gringas: The sexy Latin stylings bring you real close to your partner. Take a strapping lad or roll the dice and get paired up.

After the hour-long class, the session breaks out into a full-on milonga (dance party). The organizers embrace tango’s cabaret origins and special guests often sing, play piano, even perform a spicy pole dance. The whole evening costs just $10.

Students are encouraged to BYO beverage.
