Best of 2006: Cuppy Love

It’s that time again — when we prepare to ring in the new by celebrating the best of the past year. So this week, we give you some of our favorite stories from 2006.

Getting cupcakes: eleven. On a scale of one to ten.
Getting cupcakes to come to you: eleven. On a scale of one to two.

So Stella’s Sweet Shoppe is bound to rate rather high in your book.

The chic local cupcake delivery service’s buttery vanilla treats come in regular and mini sizes and are packaged to match the occasion.

Order a bunch to serve on dessert tiers for your next shindig, or get them individually wrapped to use as favors or gifts. (For baby showers, cakes are topped with a tiny tot charm and come in individual clear boxes with colorful bows.) Stella’s can do parties of any size — from fifteen to 1,500 — or, for that last-minute birthday present, put together a tin of miniatures padded for the drive with marshmallows.

All of which should please recipients immensely.

Even if said recipients are you, yourself, and you.
