Ponce de León didn’t find the Fountain of Youth on his trip to the Sunshine State, and one glance at Lincoln Road confirms that the quest endures. (There’s a reason Nip/Tuck is set in Miami.)
But the journey just might end in your living room with a house call from The Center for Beautiful Skin and their age-defying facial (a.k.a. nonsurgical lift).
The treatment starts with two microcurrent-emitting stainless steel probes (they sound scarier than they are) to warm and strengthen the muscles. Next come good-for-you serums and creams, gently massaged in a feathering motion. Finally, the masks: collagen (to reduce lines and wrinkles and improve tone and texture) and electrical microcurrents (to ensure the unguents penetrate like they’re supposed to).
Of course, you can’t buy your youth back. But for $225/session (or $2,400/dozen), firmer, rejuvenated skin isn’t out of the question.
Pity poor Ponce didn’t have a platinum card handy.
