One sleepyhead’s lullaby (crashing waves from a sound machine) is another child’s nightmare.
Tune into something more musically inclined with a Woon iDoll. The plush bedtime companions are what happens when a Sleep Sheep meets an Uglydoll meets your iPod.
Just customize a soothing playlist on your MP3 player (we found a combination of ’80s lite rock and John Denver worked like Ambien), set the volume (remember, it will be muffled by the doll), slip it into the side pocket, and use the Velcro loop to attach it to the crib, car seat, or stroller.
Though the little doll isn’t flawless (it took us awhile to get our iPod in place without triggering different playlists), it certainly mirrors our parenting sensibility better than any fuzzy animal with womb noises mysteriously emanating from its belly.
In other words, it’s anything but a snore.
