When it comes to sharing, certain things — knickers, toothbrushes, exes (even the ones we hate) — are off-limits.
But where food is concerned, there’s nothing better than doubling the sample pool.
With this in mind, acclaimed chef Atul Kochhar (Benares, Vatika) opens Colony in Marylebone tomorrow with owner Carlo Spetale.
The dining room and cocktail lounge serve Anglo-Indian nashta — tapas-inspired dishes based on Indian street food. Options include crisp tiger prawns with tomato and basil salsa, minced lamb, and fresh mint baked in phyllo pastry served with minted mascarpone. For a quick lunch, order a thali, the Indian version of a lunch box with seven small dishes that change daily.
There’s a little for everyone.
So spread the love.
