Forgive us for sounding snooty this fine morning, but our nose is in the air.
Technically, on the mezzanine level of The Northall, the recently opened restaurant in the grand Corinthia Hotel near Trafalgar Square.
Dedicated to sourcing the best local produce (suppliers are named alongside each dish on the menu), three-time Michelin-starred chef Garry Hollihead serves simple British food done to perfection. Might we suggest the Loch Var smoked salmon or free-range chicken with mushrooms and tarragon followed by caramel and chocolate cheesecake?
Service is impeccable, and the food is so beautifully presented you’ll want to whip out your smartphone to snap a photo. (Please don’t; it’s poor manners.)
Go for breakfast, lunch, pre- and post-theatre dining, as well as Sunday roast.
We’ll be the one with our pinky up at tea.
