The fool! Had he known what gourmet delights lay in store, he’d have trotted down there in a flash.

Finally launching tomorrow (after weeks of delays), Red Market brings together some of London’s best-loved street food traders. Alongside a range of stalls (Crepes and Galette, Coconut King), you’ll find trendy food trucks Healthy Yummies (scallop- and celeriac-filled seashell plates), Choc Star, The Bhangra Burger Bus and Sporeboys (those mushroom risotto fiends).

Don’t forget to check out the cocktail bar and The Summer House, a pop-up resto run by The Disappearing Dining Club, with an urban beach complete with sand and palm trees coming soon.

This is clearly a community initiative worth snouting about.
