What: Decorate/manipulate an RN tote bag and send in a photo to win a Nasvik fall 2010 purse. The top thirteen snapshots will be hung, gallery style, for a party at TG170.

Ice Cream Fair & Tomato Tasting
What: Lick your way through six mini cones stacked with Tuthilltown bourbon and sea salt caramel (The Bent Spoon), roasted peach and black pepper (Early Bird Cookery), blackberry gingersnap (MilkMade), and more.
Why: Too much sugar? Opt for top-notch tomato dishes from the likes of Jorge Collazo (SchoolFood), Meg Grace (The Redhead), and Mary Cleaver (The Cleaver Co.).

Stop & Swap: a Swap-o-Rama-Rama Event
What: Haul in a bag (at least four items) of gently used or recently retired clothing and take your pick from piles of shoes, bags, jewelry, and men’s and women’s wear.
Why: Workshops on embellishment and adornment teach you to upgrade new-to-you items.

Green Tomato and Horseradish Chutney
What: Swing by artisanal food fair and benefit concert Farm to Folk Fest for the sweet and spicy spreads (blueberry and Bermuda onion, Spice Route Citrus) from local condiment crafters The DP Chutney Collective.
Why: Proceeds go to Greenpoint-Williamsburg CSA’s Low Income Fund.
