You are the friend everyone wishes she had. According to Ros Shiers, that is (but we’re certain countless others would agree).

That’s just one of the slogans on darling prints by the star British illustrator, whose line for Topshop exploded a few seasons ago. She just launched her own e-boutique, The Print Shop, and its already our go-to site for quirky artwork to spruce up our home.

Inspired by vintage ephemera, Victoriana and off-the-beaten-path car boot sales, Shiers makes everything herself in her Queen’s Park studio. Wall hangings featuring love potions, cakes and Alice in Wonderland-esque designs are archival giclee prints: a collectible category of fine art, guaranteed not to fade or age.

The Print Shop also carries tea towels, T-shirts and ecototes depicting everything from Russian dolls to butterfly-infested skulls — all priced far below what you’d pay for most original art. So for once, your credit card’s not your frenemy.
