Maybe this is the case with Elaine Waxman.
The enigmatic Delaware artist creates fantastic necklaces. Where she gets her beads, we don’t know. What sparks her designs, we’ve not a clue.
But you can still wear her long, silver coin pearl necklace for a laid-back, preppy look or the red coral shell Watermelon Seed for something chunky without the art teacher vibe. We hear Waxman travels to Arizona a lot, so we’d like to imagine that her work is born of her forays there. But who can be sure?
Still, we can love them without knowing from whence they came.
We’ll settle for who done it.
