Popover Cafe Delivers

(Stop.) Oh, yes. Wait a minute, Mr. Postman. (Wait.)
Forget a card or letter. How about a box of scrumptious popovers from NYC’s Popover Cafe? (Oh, yeah.)
Made with fresh eggs, milk, and flour, the golden puff muffins redefine special delivery. Mail a half dozen with an eight-ounce jar of the cafe’s strawberry preserves or unsweetened apple butter. Heating instructions are the only missive you’ll need to show you care.
Correspond with Betty Crocker pals by sending the recipe, mix, and a pastry brush. Make sure they’ve got all the right tools by ordering the kit, which comes with six sturdy custard cups. Profiterole fans get the message loud and clear with the sundae bouquet. Ice cream is not included, but the cafe provides a jar of hot fudge and a swanky silver-plated scoop.
Most bouquet orders placed Monday through Thursday are shipped overnight free of charge.
That’s what we call sweet deliverance.
