Yam It Up

You’re thankful for year-round bikini weather. For the 400-square-foot studio with a (partial) bay view. And for all your relatives who can’t wait to head south for Turkey Day. (Yes, Aunt Marge, there’s a pool.)

What to make when your stove fits only two Hot Pockets? Reservations.

At Mark’s South Beach (Hotel Nash, 1120 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach; 305-604-9050), feast on pumpkin soup, porcini-roasted turkey, and chestnut souffle. Touch (910 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach; 305-532-8003) cooks up sweet potato tamales, organic turkey stuffed with cornbread, and ricotta pumpkin pie. And SushiSamba (600 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach; 305-673-5337) rolls out the Pavochon (turkey in garlic and onion “mojo”) and the Thanksgiving Roll (tempura salmon, kabocha squash, and collard greens).

Off the beach, you’ll gobble Chef Allen’s (19088 Northeast 29th Avenue, Aventura; 305-935-2900) pumpkin ravioli; Key Lime mojo-roasted turkey; and a lemon, rosemary, and pumpkin “refrigerator bar” (kinda like a chilled Kit Kat). Atrio (Conrad Miami, 1395 Brickell Avenue, Brickell; 305-503-6529) fills the cornucopia with porcini-rubbed turkey, blue cheese buttermilk biscuits, and pumpkin and pecan meringue pie.

The best part: no crusty dishes to wash. That means more time to spend with the people you love.

Poolside.
