Mad Dash

Once upon a time, an industrious, entrepreneurial woman quit her nine-to-five corporate job to do something big for herself.

Hell no, this is not another jewelry story.

It’s the story of Flo, the animated hero in PlayFirst’s highly addictive computer game, Diner Dash.

Disenchanted with the world of finance (as crazy as that sounds), Flo ditches the stock market to work at a roadside diner, where the race is on to play hostess, wait on customers, and bus tables. With the progression of each round (there are 50), Flo remodels, expands, upgrades to a tiki bar, and opens a five-star restaurant. The turnover is faster. The clientele is ever more demanding. The tips get better and better. (Yay, capitalism!)

A 60-minute trial gives you a little taste. Steal a few seconds of play between meetings, phone calls, or whenever you need to look busy at work. Once you realize that your obsession with the restaurant business won’t subside, you can buy the full game for less than 20 bucks.

Just don’t get any big ideas yourself. Ya got bills to pay, pallie.
