Some people think pricey prams are just mommy status symbols. But we’ve found two new strollers that are well worth an update.
Orbit Baby Double Helix
The long-awaited, much-anticipated double stroller from Orbit Baby is now available for preorder. Some of our favorite features include a flexible frame that adjusts to one or two riders, an upgrade kit that allows current G2 owners to add on to their single stroller, and seats that swivel 360 degrees. Plus, you can use the infant or toddler car seat, bassinet, and stroller seat just by clicking them into the stroller. Available at mbeans.com. Upgrade kit, $350; double stroller frame, $750; double stroller with two infant car seats, $1,630.
Baby Jogger City Versa
We like to think of this as a mash-up between the City Select and the City Mini. You get the Mini’s light weight with the Select’s inward- or outward-facing seat. Plus, when it’s time to pack it up, the Versa folds as compact as the Mini — with the seat facing in or out. Available at diapers.com, $450.
