At 25, most people drink too much and intern for too little.
But Ohio-born FIT grad Phillip Salem created Owen, an impeccable MPD boutique that makes us look both good (clothes) and bad (ugh, prodigies).
Beneath an arch of 25,000 brown bags, browse by color for custom Jen Kao dresses, reversible cobalt frocks by Karolina Zmarlak, silk Tome blouses, Ksubi and Thvm jeans, Kaelen shifts, and Ashley Rowe button-ups. We’re gunning for a tinseled red/orange Surface to Air blazer and Rodebjer beach sweater.
Salem insists on treating all visitors like Beyoncé, and though rap mogul husbands aren’t in stock, free beer, bubbly, and endearing attentiveness are standard. (Slips to counteract of-the-moment sheer fabrics cost extra.)
Boyy bags, Dannijo sparkles, menswear (Patrik Ervell, Henrik Vibskov), and loud Karen Walker sunnies round out the goods.
Because good style never gets old.
