With the Rangers in the World Series, your dinner dates have centered around bad bar food and Young jerseys.
Take one for the team at Uptown lunch and dinner spot Primebar, which quietly opened just before the playoffs in the old Maguire’s space.
The industrial-chic resto has laid-back but gourmet options, including flatbreads, salads, burgers (avocado-mango salsa, anyone?), and horseradish-crusted salmon. The specialty cocktail menu has a surprising lineup, too, with adventurous players like the Twilight, made with St-Germain, bubbly, and vodka.
For the best flat-screen view, park it in one of the round leather booths. And don’t Cruz without a nightcap on the sweeping outdoor patio draped with twinkle lights or dessert from the seasonal menu, which currently includes a blond pistachio brownie with homemade ice cream.
It’s a home run.
