Learn to Cook from Market to Table

Pure Kitchen Catering and Cooking Classes

pure kitchen catering classes!

Intimidated by veggies you can’t pronounce (see: jicama)?

Pure Kitchen Catering will tutor you in the Green City Market’s native tongue. Chef Derrick Wcislak won’t just accompany you to the stands, he’ll go back to your house and teach you (and friends, if you fancy) to turn the seasonal bounty into a delicious meal.

Wcislak honed his skills at Vie and North Pond, but he’s got a rustic, unrefined style that makes even strange root vegetables appear friendly. Start by crafting a crunchy corn panzanella and move on to a grilled summer squash muffuletta as he coaches you step by step. Wcislak even mixes up fresh flavored sodas (the blueberry is a customer favorite).

If you’re that kitchenphobic, enlist him to cater your next dinner party or create a few healthful dinners for your busy week. He’ll source ingredients from within 250 miles of the city and accommodate dietary restrictions.
