So, Joan Rivers’s new docudrama has you reconsidering plastic surgery. Get the nip/tuck out of your system by giving your home a face-lift.
Interior designer Angela Stone can doctor up your pad in 48 hours flat (really). The Harrington College of Design graduate just launched Hinge Design Studio, a collective of local artists, furniture designers, antique dealers, and a weekend makeover service that is nothing short of miraculous.
On day one, she’ll get to know you and your space before making suggestions, from easy-does-it changes (moving furniture) to heavy-duty transformations (switching paint colors, purchasing large-scale art).
Day two, she arrives armed with catalogs, paint samples, and a custom guide of what to buy (and where), fusing her aesthetic — farmhouse modern, aged, industrial pieces, minimalist textural elements — with yours. She’ll even track down one-of-a-kind pieces from around the state for a makeover that’s more than skin deep.
