Parenting has turned you into a camera-crazed paparazzo. Turn out million dollar shots of your kiddo with these tips from Rachel Beltzman of Rachel B. Photo Studio.
1. Catch the light in their eyes by having them look out a window or in the direction of the sun.
2. Focus on little things: Zooming in on dimples, hair curls, or toes captures their cuteness from a different perspective.
3. If there is more than one child, dress them in either all warm or all cool colors. For singletons, patterns really pop.
4. Be spontaneous. Don’t announce you’re taking pictures (candids are king) and make them laugh by telling knock-knock jokes or saying potty words (“poop” and “stinky” usually work).
Now snap to it.
