The cool kids’ table never was your style. You’d trade your tuna for a math geek’s PB&J and quirky sense of humor without thinking twice. So what if they laughed?
Today, you’re still all about the good food and even better company.
So come to Bonsoirée Cafe and Delicacies’s Underground Restaurant, a weekly dinner held at the cafe where each guest is personally invited by owner and chef Kurt Chenier.
No hazing or wedgies involved: If you want in, call Chenier and give him your e-mail. He’ll send you an e-vite to a five-course prix fixe dinner. The menu changes, but last month’s featured pan-roasted diver sea scallops, homemade sweet potato ravioli, and mango and macadamia nut rice pudding. There are only 26 spots, so R.S.V.P. fast. (And BYOB.)
Swapping food and tales with other diners is encouraged, so plant yourself at a table and work it like a seventh grader.
Then settle in for a nice, long last laugh.
