Unless your wedding is ’80s-prom themed, you’re better off keeping it simple.
Start at Roslyn’s bridal salon, opening today.
Newly hitched shop owner Rosie Clayton’s intimate Bucktown boutique now houses a corner of elegant, off-the-rack looks with a practical price point (starting at $225).
Peruse gowns by Sarah Seven (the only place in the city where you’ll find the line), Elise Bergman, Sir, and Suite in subdued blushes, soft ivories, textured pastels, and muted grays, in a selection of custom fabrics and styles. Rehearsal and shower dresses and tops, as well as playful cocktail attire, are also available.
For something blue, choose a ribbon from rolls of grosgrain and other textiles. Wrap it around a bouquet or sew a bow into your dress (the shop will do it for you gratis).
Clayton’s own husband wears a sleek, affordable wedding band ($150-$1,500) by Canadian designer Jennifer Sheridan, available to order in-store.
Up next: bridal events with videographers, wedding coordinators, even an invitation suite.
