If you wished upon a star, you’d hope for a vintage store that blends old-school charm and current trends.
Poof: Introducing Pilsen’s Comet Vintage.
Owners Jen Thomas and Jamie Roelofs transformed the former auto parts shop into a sweet, feminine space that’s reminiscent of a stylish home: mint green walls, shiny wood floors, retro sofas (for sale).
The duo scoured “every estate sale between here and Georgia,” rooting up treasures like a classic ’70s French trench; a sophisticated, sparkly shrug from the ’40s; a multicolored, beaded Palm Springs-style drop purse; cocktail rings; teacups; and more.
The store’s reasonable prices ($10-$30) will keep you coming back, and its free sewing classes (coming soon) will allow you to tailor finds to your shape and liking.
Proof fashion fairy tales can come true.
