What: The Pizzeria Posto folks’ new Mexican joint serves ceviche del mar (scallops, redfish), zucchini and plantain enchiladas, Oaxaca cheese grits, and ten kinds of taco (octopus, skirt steak, chicken livers).
Why: Ballena beers and tequila flights enjoyed under Day of the Dead murals from local artist Raul Gonzalez.

Gem Opens
What: The supper club from Big Night Entertainment Group (Red Lantern, The Estate) rocks a sexy boudoir vibe while dishing American brasserie fare (roasted sea bass, mac and cheese au gratin) in the reservation-only dining room.
Why: A truly outrageous martini menu includes the decadent Gemvara (Grey Goose La Poire, Grand Marnier, fresh lemon, Moët Imperial).

Mad Men Return Viewing Party

Why: Big-screen premiere watching and prizes for va-va-voomiest Joan ensembles.
