We forgive bottomless blunders (leggings as pants, anyone?), but that tube top as a miniskirt? Just stop.
Bigger is better. And scarf designer Anna Barclay Sibley knows it.
Wrap up in her massive creations (read: six and a half by three and a half feet) of Italian silk and linen. Drape them into shawls, mufflers, even sarongs (for that midwinter tropical getaway); spread them out to free the design inside (blue and chartreuse running man, cream and olive elephant, navy horse).
Cool weather brings cashmere and herringbone styles (handwoven in Italy) in earth tones.
Proceeds from every scarf sold go to purchase items of need from Tanzanians for Tanzanian orphanages.
She’s got it covered.
Available at A. Barclay showroom, 110 East Andrews Drive Northwest, in the Cates Center, suite 9 (205-908-5012), $275 and up. To see styles, go to abarclaydesigns.com.
