Going rate for a round-trip ticket to Bali: oh, just $1,804 (we checked).
Owner Anika Easter travels to a small Balinese village, where she selects flowy fabrics and color schemes, then collaborates with local designers to bring back inimitable hand-dyed dresses, skirts, and tops ($36-$145). Accessorize with beaded, leather, and woven bracelets; vibrant satchels; and scarves made for fall tailgating.
Clear some wall space for rust and patina paintings by Easter herself or bring a piece of the tropics to your abode with original artwork (wooden pieces made of old fishing boats), pillows, twinkling chandeliers, animal statues (resist the urge to ride the rocking horse), and a nine-foot-tall cylindrical root sculpture.
