You have fond memories of sneaking brewskis into your parents’ basement (your older brother was good for something).
Relive teenage glory days without fear of being grounded at Wrecking Bar Brewpub, a new haven in the subterranean den of an artfully restored, 20th-century Victorian house, courtesy of home-brewing duo Bob and Kristine Sandage.
Instead of Natty Light, the couple serves a rotating selection of brewed-on-site craft beers, like Red Monkey Amber IPA and Golden Nelson Ale.
Forget raiding the pantry for Cheetos and Hostess cakes. Servers in mechanics’ shirts dish braised beef short ribs and PB&J cheesecake.
Stone walls, a custom-made pine bar and tables, and a historic coal-room-turned-cozy-lounge take the place of tattered couches and dear old Dad’s weird sports paraphernalia.
Let’s just say you’ve graduated.
